A personal approach to accessible bathroom design
A small, family-run business built around hands-on installation experience, careful design, and a deep respect for the homes we work in.
We started because too many accessible bathrooms felt like an afterthought.
Adaptive Bathroom Solutions began with a simple frustration: the bathrooms most installers were fitting for disabled and less-mobile homeowners, and families adapting to changing needs, felt cold, clinical, and pieced together from a mobility catalogue. We knew it could be done differently.
Today, we design and install accessible bathrooms that look, and feel, like premium residential bathrooms. Same warmth, same considered finishes, same level of craftsmanship you would expect from a high-end refurbishment. The accessibility is built in, not bolted on.
We're deliberately small. Our founder leads every project personally, and there's always a familiar voice at the end of the phone making sure you feel informed, reassured, and looked after throughout. Our installation team is the same on day one as on day twenty-one. And our schedule is set by the work we can do well, not the work we could take on.
A few principles that guide every project.
No jargon, no chasing. We tell you what is happening, when, and why.
Tidy site, dust sheets, clean-up at the end of every day.
Honest guidance, including when a smaller scope is the right one.
Same hands every day. No surprise subcontractors.
The five things that don't change, project to project.
Considered at every threshold, fitting and reach distance.
Designs that quietly support the way you already live.
Warm finishes, generous lighting, and considered acoustics.
Done once, properly, not rushed, not subcontracted out.
Clear pricing, clear timelines, and one person to call.
